● WELLBEING & THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT

Music, conversation and support centred on the person.

Music therapy and counselling offer different ways to express, connect and strengthen emotional wellbeing in a respectful, person-centred environment.

Two pathways, one person-centred approach

We listen first, explain the available options and discuss whether the service is suitable for the person’s goals.

01MUSIC THERAPY

Connect and express through music

Music-based sessions can create a welcoming way to communicate, explore feelings, build confidence and connect with others. The approach is shaped around the person, their interests and their goals.

02COUNSELLING

A supportive space to talk

Person-centred counselling offers time to be heard, reflect on experiences and explore practical ways to support emotional wellbeing, relationships and everyday life.

03INDIVIDUAL

Support shaped around the person

We begin with a conversation about the person’s needs, communication preferences, interests and goals before discussing a suitable approach.

04CONNECTION

Part of a wider community

Where appropriate, sessions can connect with Ebenezer Mission’s inclusive arts, disability support and community participation programs.

A simple conversation is the first step.

Tell us who the support is for, what they would like help with and any communication or accessibility needs. We will explain current availability, practitioner details, possible session formats, fees and the next appropriate step.

01

Understand the person

We begin with the person’s goals, strengths, interests, preferences and communication style.

02

Explain the options

We discuss which service may be suitable, who provides it and what a session could look like.

03

Review together

Goals and the support approach can be reviewed as needs, circumstances and priorities change.
