EKASA (Eben Kids After School Activity)

Ebenezer Mission offers a wide range of Kids after school activity including, speech therapy, occupational therapy, social skills, music therapy and school readiness programs for early intervention.

What is EKASA and why is it important?

Early intervention is specialised support for children who have a disability or learning difficulties. Early intervention activities help prevent future complications and difficulties for children with disabilities, and are crucial for increased success and independence.

Early intervention focuses on ensuring development of language, emotion, socialness, cognitive and physical development for children.

EKASA Programs offered at Ebenezer Mission

Disability and inclusion programs

Our programs support children with disabilities and help prepare children for the transition to school. The Ebenezer Kids After School Program Activity also supports families with transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Some activities we hold include core strengthening program, kids yoga, sensory play, art play, music and academic support.

School Readiness Program

Our School Readiness Program is specific to helping kids prepare for school, such as providing handwriting practice and school vacation group programs.

Eben Care Network

You can connect to our care network, a network of professionals that have the expertise to fully evaluate your child for developmental disabilities, such as speech therapy and occupational therapy services. Our allied Eben care clinical nurses are highly trained individuals, and offer quality health therapies for children.
