Duke of Edinburgh for Special Needs

We help people with disability and special needs take on new skills and challenges, whilst having fun through various activities in the Duke of Edinburgh program.

Duke of Edinburgh for special needs

Ebenezer Mission is proud to offer Duke of Edinburgh’s Award for young people with additional needs and disabilities. The DofE Award Program could be an immensely rewarding and fulfilling journey for youth with additional needs, which they can partake as a part of their NDIS plan.

The Duke of Ed provides great opportunities for people with special needs to develop new skills, challenge themselves and achieve goals. At Ebenezer, we provide a safe and supportive space for our participants to integrate with the wider community.

How It Works

Getting Started

1. Look up at the requirements needed for Duke of Edinburgh.
2.Choose an award level you want to do.
3. Choose a qualified Duke of Edinburgh Award centre, such as Ebenezer.

Check The Requirements Needed

1. Check whether you have all the requirements needed to participate.
2. Check if you are old enough, motivated and ready to commit.
3. Find an Assessor who can vouch for your completion. At Ebenezer, we have highly experienced assessors that can guide you throughout all the steps.

Set Goals, Record and Submit

1. Set your goals and what you want to achieve through this award program.
2. Record your activities on the Online Record Book (ORB).
3. Get an approval from the Award Leader for submission.
